Are you loyal to your PASTOR?

what if your pastor made a mistake?

         “Loyalty” a seven letter word which is not just meant to be uttered with our mouths but requires to be proven through our actions. God gave the highest authority in the church to our pastor. Since God is the one who put our pastor in authority, we should be submissive and remain loyal to him. Our pastor did not come from agencies neither from the will of men but he came from the heart of God. Therefore, as members of the local church, we do not have any right to remove him from where he is. Our duty is to follow his decisions and support him in his visions.
     
        It’s easy to say, “I am loyal to my Pastor” but what if your pastor made a mistake? Would you still remain loyal to him? Some of us seem to withdraw our loyalty to him when he made a mistake, sometime we think we are better than the man of God and we begin to murmur until time will come that we become rebellious.

        Our pastor, just like us, is a human being who may experience discouragement and commit errors. He may also suffer weakness both physically and spiritually. We should not be narrow minded in understanding these things. Despite these, we should always bear in our minds that our pastor is still and would always remain as a man of God. It’s not right to think that we our better than our pastor because God has chosen him. Our task only is to OBEY, OBEY, OBEY.

        Obeying the man of God means obeying God who has chosen him. Let us not get tired of being obedient, submissive and loyal to our pastor because God doesn’t make a mistake He knows who is right person to lead us… none other than our PASTOR.
